The Joint Venture of Aarsleff Bilfinger Berger (ABJV) from Denmark awarded PDS2000 Excavator and Wirecrane Monitoring installations to RESON
Aarsleff Bilfinger Berger Joint Venture (ABJV) awarded RESON the contract to deliver and install an excavator and wirecrane monitoring systems.
Both excavator and wirecrane are to be used for the installation of a windmill park, comprising 92 windmills.
RESON was chosen over other suppliers due to their excellent track record in this type of installation and project.
The PDS2000-crane monitoring system allows the client to dredge very efficiently to the design depth and model.
The full shape of the crane together with the position and heading of the pontoons are shown in real-time, allowing for centimeter accuracy during the operation.
The delivery comprises a full set of RESON potmeter, cable length counters, heading sensors, RESON interfaces and the PDS2000-Excavator – Wirecrane software. Both installation and training were executed by RESON employees
