Management buy-out of RESON SA (Pty) Ltd. in South Africa
RESON SA Pty becomes Underwater Surveys (Pty) Ltd, as Ephan Potgieter acquires all shares.
As of March 19, 2007, Mr. Ephan Potgieter has acquired all shares of RESON SA (Pty) Ltd. in South Africa. The company has changed its name to Underwater Surveys (Pty) Ltd., effective the beginning of April 2007.
RESON SA (Pty) Ltd. was established in 2001 as a subsidiary of RESON A/S with Ephan Potgieter as the local Director based in Cape Town.. The company was responsible for sales of RESON products in Sub-Saharan Africa, and has been the preferred supplier for a number of key accounts in the region.
The many years of brilliant collaboration will continue as Ephan and the former RESON SA (Pty) Ltd.’s South African staff will continue to support the company. Underwater Surveys (Pty) Ltd. will be RESON’s agent in South Africa, and their cooperation will include:
1) A resellers agreement whereby Underwater Surveys (Pty) Ltd. has been appointed as the exclusive agent for RESON products for the Sub-Saharan African region and islands of the southwest Indian Ocean.
A service partner agreement which will ensure that all regional post-sale support to RESON customers will enjoy the highest priority
