RESON SeaBat 8125 used in Project MOSE - The Protection of Venice
The International Engineering Company “Mantovani” has awarded RESON Mediterranean a contract to deliver and install the high resolution RESON SeaBat 8125 Multibeam sonar system. The package will also include training of Mantovani personal.
MANTOVANI is a global company that operates in the field of construction engineering both at land & Sea. MANTOVANI is one of the leading engineering companies involved on the project “MOSE”. This project is one of the focal point of the Italian Government in saving Venice. MOSE is an ambitious plan involving massive gates that will rise from the sea bed to cut the lagoon off from the open sea.
Due to the high performance demonstrated during various demo in the Venice water, RESON’s SeaBat 8125 has been chosen, and will be used for monitoring all underwater operations during project MOSE.
