Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt award RESON to deliver a full Hydrographical package system
RESON Mediterranean is awarded a contract by the Egyptian Hydrographical Division, to deliver a full Hydrographical survey package that will contain a SeaBat 8160 system and accessories. The contract will also include Installation and training, RESON staff. This is the second order of a SeaBat system awarded to RESON by the Egyptian Hydrographical Division within a year.
About SeaBat 8160
The SeaBat 8160 is a 40 kHz Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) System, which measures the relative water depths across a wide swath perpendicular to a vessel’s track. The system will allow seamless collection of high-resolution data, from the waterline (-5m) to a medium (3000m) water depth. The design of the 8160 is a result of years of experience gained from RESON’s successful SeaBat series of MBES systems. The 8160 can be quickly and smoothly integrated into existing hydrographical systems, using interface architecture common to the entire SeaBat 81xx series.
