Spanish survey company awards contract to RESON for SeaBat 8160 deep water multibeam system

RESON has recently been awarded a contract for supply and installation of a SeaBat 8160
deep water multibeam system to Ecometria, a private Spanish survey company based on the Canary Islands. The system has been deployed on board the survey vessel "R/V E. EVA" owned and operated by Ecometria.
The company has a broad collaboration with main research centres in Spain and in Europe in general. Ecometria intends to use the SeaBat system within their following main areas of research: Cartography; Environmental research; Vulcanology and Oceanography.
RESON is pleased to report that Ecometria has made their choice of supplier not only based upon their sonar systems performance but also upon their reputation and experience in respect of installation service and long-term customer support.
