RESON Mediterranean Srl has delivered and completed the installation of a survey system that includes a RESON SeaBat 8124 multibeam system and PDS2000 Software to the Egyptian Hydrographic Division. The scope of supply also includes training of personnel of the Egyptian Navy.
Equipment
In cooperation with our Egyptian representative, Surveying System, RESON Mediterranean Srl delivered and installed a SeaBat 8124 system and accessories that include the PDS2000 Hydrographic Software Package.
RESON Mediterranean personnel have also supplied a full training course to staff of the Hydrographic Division. The training package includes both theoretical and practical tutoring of the sonar hardware and software.
The SeaBat 8124 Multibeam system operates at 200 kHz, and is a high accuracy system, even on the outer beams. It features an advanced bottom detection system that incorporates both amplitude and phase detection methods.
