| PDS2000 Excavator and Backhoe dredgers For Backhoe dredgers RESON supplies the software and sensors to measure the angles of boom stick and bucket as a total solution. Dredge tools are easy to exchange in the software and a built-in calibration can be used to calibrate the angles. During operation PDS2000 guides the operator to perform his job as efficiently as possible. PDS2000-Excavator supports buckets, clamshells and pumps. |

PDS2000 Clamshell monitoring PDS2000-Clamshell/Grab application is also supported. By measuring the cable length and the position of the crane boom top, the operated depth and position is computed. The operator immediately sees what he has dredged. Using a dual cable length counter offers the possibility to visualise the open and close position of the clamshell, also the update can be assigned to the closed position. The application can also be used for ‘’diking’’, this means placing of sediment or material, in the ‘’diking’’ mode the models will be updated to the pre-set value of the material. This way building breakwaters are supported by this PDS2000 application. |
PDS2000 Cutter monitoring PDS2000-Cutter provides the tools necessary to dredge as efficiently as possible. The profile to be dredged is shown in aft and side view which allows the operator to guide at exactly the correct depth. The theoretical design is shown together with the surveyed area. Spud pole position monitoring is a standard feature of PDS2000 for Cutter dredgers, as well as for Bucket dredgers, Excavators and Clamshell dredgers. |

PDS2000 ladder bucket monitoring PDS2000-Bucket provides the tools necessary to dredge as efficiently as possible with your bucket dredger. The profile to be dredged is shown in aft and side view which allows the operator to guide the ladder at exactly the correct depth. The theoretical design is shown together with the surveyed area. PDS2000-Bucket support placement feature will allow the operator to re-position the dredger to the exact location which it left earlier. This is a main feature which greatly helps the operator and saves time and costs on projects. |
PDS2000 Trailing suction hopper dredgers PDS2000-hopper shows the suction tube(s) of the trailing suction hopper dredger relative to the design to be dredged. The operator knows exactly where to go. An optional SCADA screen shows which valves and or hopper door(s) are open or closed. The system can integrate to most dredge sensors and show the activity and/or status. Production needles show the production and flow for each head. A 3D presentation of the vessel with DTM and design models is a standard feature. |
