PDS2000 Multibeam Survey
PDS2000 covers the entire operation from acquisition to end product. PDS2000 Multibeam provides all the necessary tools and modules to perform a survey and get excellent results.

PDS2000-Multibeam has a number of QC screen available which inform the user online of the data quality collected. Real time processing allows that the results can be used directly after the survey. For fine tuning of the real-time processed data you can use the 3D Multibeam swath area editor, this editor allows multiple line of multibeam data to be checked and edit. Calibration and remote control of the SeaBat 81XX series Multibeam systems are standard features in PDS2000-Multibeam.

Survey planning provides the functionality to create routes, runlines and waypoints. Routes and runlines can also be imported from ASCI data or created interactively.

Channel design and 3D modeling is used to create theoretical designs for volume calculations and profiles.
3D modeling is used for any model from a simple channel design to the most complex design.

Data acquisition for multibeam surveys also has the possibility to operate the RESON SeaBat 8K series from PDS2000. Progress is shown in 2D and 3D views.

PDS2000 Multibeam has Quality Control displays dedicated to the multibeam data.

Data processing/Cleaning module has several editors for positioning data, multibeam data and singlebeam data. A Tidal data editor is available to reduce the depths for tide.

The Multibeam editor shows the data in a 3D view which can be turned in any direction. Data of adjacent lines can be easily compared. Filters can be changed and set. Not only the ones placed during editing but also the ones used online. Data can be deleted and undeleted.

PDS2000 Plot is especially designed to produce charts for the hydrographic analysis. Topviews and profiles can be combined in one chart. Data can be plotted with contours, depths and color coded.

All necessary information is available on the chart.

Volume calculations can be derived in two ways: using gridmodels and/or cross-sections.
The grid model editor is used to create gridmodels. The gridmodel can be combined with a theoretical design to calculate the volumes and create a differential Grid model.

Volume calculations can also be carried out using the Singlebeam data file. The data can be compared with a theoretical depth or model but it is also possible to compare the result of two frequencies.
