SeaBat multibeam sonar systems, NaviSound single-beam echo sounders, Sound Velocity Profilers (SVP), Transducers & Hydrophones, and PDS2000 software to supply automated hydrographic data systems.
SeaBat
RESON’s high-resolution SeaBat multibeam sonars include echo sounding bathymetry models for seafloor mapping,
and forward looking sonar systems for seabed imaging. SeaBats are recognized for their capability to perform reliably - even in the most demanding marine environment. SeaBats are being used extensively for sub-sea inspection, hydrographic and bathymetric surveys, underwater positioning, dredging, cable-laying, pipe-line inspection, and numerous other marine applications.
NaviSound
RESON’s NaviSound products feature compact, lightweight, and easy to operate singlebeam sonars. NaviSound singlebeam systems can be supplied with digital display, or with thermal paper recorders. RESON’s NaviSound singlebeam equipment span the range from standard models for routine depth data collection to high-end systems for a variety of demanding hydrographic survey operations. NaviSound singlebeam sonars are being used successfully in hydrographic applications such as swath surveying, dredge operations, rig positioning, and integrated navigation.
Sound Velocity Probes & Profilers
RESON’s SVP’s are designed for direct measurement of sound velocity whilst underway. We offer SVP models for all current applications and water depths.
Transducers
RESON manufactures high-power underwater acoustic transducers. Our line of Transducers starts with the 1000 series, which are low to mid frequency (around 0.1 Hz), progressing up to the 3000 series range (2MHz). All of our transducers are individually calibrated. Major application areas include: Communication, positioning, navigation, calibration, acoustic tracking, environmental monitoring, offshore structure monitoring, and marine biological research.
Hydrophones
All Reson Hydrophones are precision referenced. Our Hydrophones are grouped in what we refer to as the 4000 series. Our Hydrophones are widely used for industrial and scientific underwater monitoring and measurements. Furthermore, they are used for acoustic calibration and product quality control.
PDS2000
PDS2000 is a software package that covers the entire operation from data acquisition to end product. PDS 2000 can support a large number of dredge operations and hydrographic survey applications.
