What is PDS2000?
PDS2000 is a software package developed by RESON for hydrographic surveys and dredge monitoring and Read moreguidance. The software provides the user the tools to perform a survey in an easy way. PDS2000 is easy to operate and has all the tools for fast surveys and results. It is used for Singlebeam surveys, Multibeam surveys and ROV Surveys. PDS2000 is also used for dredge monitoring and guidance.
Can PDS2000 be used for single beam surveys?
PDS2000 has all the tools necessary for single beam surveys. It comprises Survey Planning, Data acqu Read moreisition, Data processing, DTM creation, Volume calculation, Charting, 3D views.
Can PDS2000 be used for multibeam surveys?
PDS2000 has all the tools necessary for multibeam surveys. It comprises Survey Planning, Calibration Read more, Data acquisition, Data processing, 3D Processing, DTM creation, Volume calculation, Charting, 3D views.
Is Sidescan Sonar and Snippets available with PDS2000-Multibeam?
Sidescan Sonar and Snippets views are standard features of PDS2000 Multibeam.
Data of the SSS an Read mored Snippets can be mosaiced and processed for further analysis.
Can PDS2000 be used for surveys on ROV’s?
PDS2000 can be used for Multibeam surveys on ROV’s. All the modules for Multibeam surveys are Read moreavailable. In top view and 3D view the vessel and ROV are shown in one display. ROV position is enhanced using Doppler and Kalman filtering.
Is it possible to upgrade from Singlebeam to Multibeam?
PDS2000 has a modular layout. It is easy to upgrade from Singlebeam to Multibeam. Please ask your lo Read morecal sales office for more information.
Which dredger types are supported by PDS2000 dredge?
PDS2000 for dredging monitors and guides the dredging operation. For each type of dredger there is a Read more different application tailored to the needs of the operator. Dredger types that PDS2000 supports are:
- Excavators/Backhoe dredgers
- Clamshell Dredgers
- Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers
- Cutter Suction Dredgers
- Bucket Ladder Dredgers
- Airjet Dredgers
- Barsweep/Plough
Does PDS2000 support Rockdump projects?
PDS2000 supports Rockdump projects. PDS2000 guides the rockdump vessel to the dump area. It is desig Read morened for fallpipe vessels, slide dump vessels and bottom-door vessels. Progress is shown by number of dumps in the area, layers dumped or depths after dump. It is easy to use and operate. The program automatically updates when doors or slides are operated.
Which sensors are supported by PDS2000?
PDS2000 supports all sensors necessary for Multibeam and Singlebeam survey. Most sensors are interfa Read moreced using a standard NMEA format. Some sensors have a dedicated interface. The list of sensors include but is not limited to: GPS Positioning Systems, Total Station Positioning, Heading devices, Singlebeam echosounders, multibeam echosounders, motion sensors, magnetometers, tide gauges, Autopilots, PPS from GPS sensors, sound velocity probes, Speed, USBL Positioning system, Doppler, Sidescan sonar and Snippets data from Multibeam. Meteorological sensors are also supported by PDS2000.
Does PDS2000 support Autopilots?
PDS2000 supports autopilots to steer the vessel along a route or track-guidance line. Please contact Read more your area sales manager for more information
Does PDS2000 support USBL positioning systems?
PDS2000 supports USBL positioning systems. The position can be enhanced using Doppler sensor and/or Read moreKalman Filtering.
Which sensors does PDS2000 support for dredging?
PDS2000 supports all sensors necessary for dredging. Analog sensors are converted to digital using t Read morehe RESON Interface. Most sensors are interfaced using a standard NMEA format. Some sensors have a dedicated interface.
The list of sensors include but is not limited to: GPS Positioning Systems, Total Station Positioning, Heading devices, list/tilt sensors and Motion sensors, Tide gauges, draught sensors, Autopilots, PPS from GPS sensors, density sensors, Load and production sensors, inclinometers, potmeters for angle measurement, cable length counters, spud carrier length, dredge state, trip info, and etc.
The dredging module can be combined with data from Singlebeam echosounders and Multibeam echosounders for survey purposes.
