Mine Counter Measure

RESON is a leader in the application of sonar technology to Mine Counter measure Applications. Several SeaBat sonars, including the 6012, the 8100 and the 8128 have been successfully used for MCM. The new generation of 7k sonar provides even better performance and flexibility.
The SeaBat 7123 advanced MCM sonar, operating at 110/240 and 455 kHz, reliably detects and classifies mine like objects at long ranges and in difficult environments. It is designed for installation on surface ships or remotely operated vehicles.
The new SeaBat 7122 operates at 100/400 kHz and provides a sophisticated mine warning capability with a unique 3D presentation of the sea floor ahead of the sonar combined with classification capability using the higher frequency.
The 7128, operating at 200/400 kHz, is a very flexible sonar mainly used for mine detection and mine warning applications, combined with classification capabilities.
The SeaBat 7122 and 7128 are all designed for flexible mounting on either surface ships, submarines, remotely operated vehicles or autonomously operated vehicles. This provides great flexibility and a very cost-efficient system solution.
