Waterside security
RESON is a leader in the application of sonar technology to waterside security applications. Several SeaBat sonars, including the 6012, and the 8128 have been used successfully to protect harbor choke points and high value assets. The new generation of 7k sonar provides even better performance.
SeaBat 7112, operating at 100 kHz, with a 360º view, reliably detects divers at hundreds of meters, and swimmer delivery vehicles at even longer ranges.
SeaBat 7111, which is based on SeaBat 7111 but with additional single processing, operates at 100 kHz, with a 210º view. Please contact RESON for further information about this version.
SeaBat 7122, operates at 100 kHz, with a 120º
SeaBat 7128, operating at 200/400 kHz provides detection and high-resolution images of intruders allowing rapid, accurate classification.
All SeaBat sonars can be easily installed and integrated either as mobile systems for temporary installations or integrated into a larger system with fixed installations using fiber-optical data links. This provides great flexibility and results in a very cost-effective system solution.
