Two independent customers have proven that by replacing video cameras with high resolution real-time imaging sonar, operations of a ROV in zero visibility can be greatly sped up.
The RESON SeaBat 8128 and 7128 imaging sonar work extremely well in zero visibility, caused either by environmental conditions such as bad weather or due to no visibility as a result of acute water depth.
Consequently with a SeaBat imaging sonar there is no waiting on visibility. Therefore savings are made by having no standby time with vessel and ROV system
