Range
You need to detect an approaching unidentified diver, sub or vessel soon enough to take action. Depending on water conditions, a SONAR system from RESON will detect something up to 1000 metres away, giving you plenty of time to respond.
Environmental conditions
Twenty years ago, rainfall could instantly cut the range of your detection system in half. Today, a RESON system will compensate for local changes in environmental conditions, so there’s never a good day to try and breach your security.
Just one interface
SONAR is just one of an array of sensors. And we know you want to everything on one screen, so we use standardised parts that make it easy to integrate RESON gear into any system.
Mine Counter Measure (MCM)
In the Baltic, mines have been deployed on and off for over 75 years. But we’re confident our shipping lane is clear. We use a SeaBat 7125 to carry out a Q-route survey every six weeks. And if we detect a new feature, we’ll send in an ROV fitted with a 7125-AUV to check it out – and, if necessary, disable it.
Accuracy
Every piece of RESON MCM gear is a precision instrument. Under most conditions, suspicious objects will be detected in plenty of time for a vessel doing 20 knots to take evasive action.
Low cost of purchase
With standard interfaces, efficient COTS manufacturing and fast, global support, a RESON solution can cost a tenth of a traditional ILS solution. And that cost includes the provision of simulators and training programmes.
