In May 2011 the advisor company of LD Equity 2 K/S changed its name to Maj Invest Equity, as a part of the name change that took place for Fondsmæglerselskabet Maj Invest A/S. Maj Invest Equity addresses advisor services to major Danish asset management, equity funds and wealth management in general. The company is owned by PKA, Realdania, PBU and the management and the employees of the company. Maj Invest manages assets for more than 5bn EUR on behalf of investors.

Founded in 1983, Dansk Erhvervsinvestering A/S is a venture capital company backed by Danish banks, pension funds and labour organisations, with equity capital of around EUR 60 million. The current portfolio consists of 18 companies in manufacturing, IT, biotechnology, and healthcare. Dansk Erhvervsinvestering A/S also manages Dansk Innovationsinvestering P/S, a venture capital company with a portfolio of 7 companies.
